San Lorenzo in Panisperna, or San Lorenzo in Formosa is a 16th century convent and titular church on Viminal Hill. It was built on the site where St. Lawrence suffered martyrdom. Name St. Lawrence was one of the seven deacons of Rome and was martyred in 258, four days after Sixtus II, during the Valerian persecution (253-260).
